We just took over the Smart brand in the US so I thought I would get one for a year.
Lease price is amazing.
Fuel economy - 40-51 mpg

Is it wrong that I want to take it to the track?

I've driven a couple of them over the years at work:
Turbo gas version
Turbo diesel version (gets 85 mpg)
N/A gas version
Electric version

All of them made me giggle - pic's to come when it arrives

I used to like em before I test drove one...then I got in and it had no cup holders and I was instantly pissed...

The transmission shifts felt like poop...they reminded me of someone that didn't know how to shift a manual car properly

Other than that...they are economical as hell...cheap as hell...and supposedly retardly safe (made by a division of mercedes)

Ive seen one on youtube with a Busa engine transplanted into it and it beats a ferrari on the drag strip lol...

I still can't wrap my head around the concept of how safe they are. I mean if you crashed into another car of bigger size i can't see it being as safe as they say...

They're pretty cool I guess. I remember a me and 4 buddies picked one up and moved it out of a parking spot as a joke awhile ago. They're so light.

That's a holy **** pic.. I saw a vid of them ramming a smart car into a barrier at like 60mph or more and it completely held up. Apparently the same doesn't hold true when there's an opposite force. Ouch!

ive seen a vid of the smart car crashing into another moving vehicle and it gets thrown through the air like a toy....would NEVER buy one EVER! however if someone else wants one thats fine because if they hit me all i will need is some turtle wax bug and tar remover to fix my car

Why buy a used Honda when he's going to get a discount for a new Smart? What's his financial situation matter? Maybe I'm old school, but surprisingly coming from me, it's a little rude to inquire about his money.

I know he gets discounts, still alot of money. I was inquireing deeply about his pay, just asked, seems like he is doing well.
