Apparently the same doesn't hold true when there's an opposite force. Ouch!
Sir Issac Newton will agree with you ;)
Congrats on the car man. I looked into it as a beater but ended up getting a 02 Chevy Monte Carlo  I drive 370Z 3 days a week and Monte Carlo 4 days a week.
Why did I get the car - I work for Mercedes-Benz USA so I get a new car every year :) Absolutely insane lease/ purchase prices - no I can't post any numbers
Turbo diesel one is rated at 85 mpg! Not coming to the US though.
I'd love to spray it!
It is currently in Baltimore MD on a transport truck - I should have it in a week or so.... then I'll post pic's
As for the transmission jerkyness - it is not an automatic transmission - it is an automated manual transmission - when it is floored, the jerkyness is worse - you need to let off the gas just before a shift and it shifts much smoother. Aftermarket tuning fixes this big time - it is very conservative from the factory.
As for a DD - it will be for my wife. I've got my truck and then get company cars here and there - my past 3 cars were a 12 SL550, 11 G550 and a 12 CLS550 bi-turbo
I would LOVE to take it to the track - we shall see ;)
As for what it runs stock - dunno - I've seen times ranging from 19 to 22 seconds - but these were from inexperienced drivers - see explanation on transmission jerkyness for why I say inexperienced drivers.
As for mods - there are a ton - intakes, headers, full exhaust and turbo kits!
Yes Steve - I expected people to get a laugh out of it - just wait for the pic's of it next to my truck :)
Race car - gone but not forgotten - 1997 firebird V6
