STB - bad - incorrect engineering

LCA - these are very bad for a street car - incorrect engineering

Can I ask how the STB is bad? Thanks for the reading info on the LCA. I do take my car to the strip quite often tho. Could they help me out at the dragstrip tho? Im looking for all the advise I can get

These cheap welded tubular STB are just wrong. Look at the design of a Hotchkis - that's correct.

The LCA you are looking at are ONLY for use on a drag strip.

Thanks for the info. Really get me to thinking whats best. Should I just leave my stock rear LCAs alone then since Im going to drive it in the summer and take it to the drag strip every now and then? I also plan on getting a posi unit in the spring

Replace the factory LCA bushings with these:

O sorry I dont want to seem like that lol. I just want to get the best bang for my buck I guess and sometimes I overthink things too much.

Best bang for the buck is the Moog 1LE style bushings. STB is unnecessary unless you like something to brace on while working under the hood. Shock towers are relatively solid and sufficiently braced already.

Don't waste your money on a mail order tune...get hp tuners and learn to do it yourself...youre not gunna notice much from a mail order...especially if your not an A4...only difference I noticed was how the car shifted.

That is retarded as far as price goes for a grille...look around on ebay/used for sale parts on ls1tech and Im sure you can get that at half price...

Don't waste your money on an Eaton posi unit...I had one, grenaded it just after the year was up...save yourself money and pickup a used auburn if your not gunna put crazy power down...if your looking to be doing alot of modding later heads/cam etc...just save up for a ford rear and dont waste your money on the rear end...trust me, Ive blown 2 of em now, I didnt think it was possible in the v6

the fill ins look sweet...look to see if you can nab the sfc's off of tech to used...mine as well get that stuff used dude...50% off and it doesnt make a difference if its new or not...

Yea i know thats epensive for a grille, thats just a guideline to go by when I go to buy one, there is no was im paying that much for a grille
