What kind of Oil and oil filter brand is everybody here using?

This will be my 2nd oil change using Royal Purple. I really like this oil. It's almost 10 bucks though, but I buy 1 quart every time I go to autozone. Before this I was using Mobil 1 syn. I can feel the difference. Maybe a gain of 2 or 3hp from before.

I've been using K&N filter for 7 years now, before was Fram. I don't think there's any difference though.

I used to use Pennzoil Synthetic (I think its called Platinum) and K&N filters, now I use whatever the shop carries in synthetic I never keep cars long enough to really care now. I did use Royal Purple on my 300zx rear diff change and it seems to have reduced whine from it.

I run RP with a k&N filter, I really doubt there is any difference, I just like the synthetic because the car sits around alot and conventional oils can turn acidic much faster. Plus I walk in to advance and drop 63 bucks on oil and a filter like a BAUSS. This was what started me on RP I can't say if it is true or not but it justifies the cost for me:

Pennzoil Ultra, since it cleans better than Mobil, Valvoline, Castrol, and Penn. Platinum. And a K&N filter. The oil is just about as expensive as RP buy I get it cheap.

Amsoil and Ac delco at the moment.In both vehicles.

I run Castrol GTX if it's on sale, otherwise whatever is cheap and still certified, and for filters, anything but Fram. Usually AC delco if available.

eneos 5-30 oil and a kan filter but soon to be switching to ac delco
