You should try and get one of those bowling ball like wheels. The original 3rd gen wheels.

Trying to decide to keep it close to a formula though, These are the original wheels and tail lights on it. Other than the interior its the only thing that makes it look like a formula.

Not sure if I wanna go ahead and make it look exactly like an '82 t/a or leave it as a custom formula.

I agree. I think base firebird's and formula's shouldve stayed this way and have the t/a's and GTA's look they way they did.

The bumpers on the 85+ base cars were cheap looking and fell apart like mine did. The 82-84's seem to be cleaner and stronger.

I agree. 3rd gens look best black. Unless its a 86+ T/A or GTA. Bright red and flame red metallic looks real good on them.
