                      Re: that was fun

I'm pretty sure I remember seeing somewhere that the TCS switch on m5 cars just disables the "Low Traction" light from coming on. It's not like I need it anyway, v6 stock power is barely enough to get one of my sticky-*** Nitto's to spin..lol

In my 02 Camaro, there is ASR (advanced slip reduction) which does help alot when driving in snowy weather.... with it on, it will not let you burn rubber or pull a holeshot, but you can turn it off thus enabling nice holeshots

If you need TCS to help you outta snow, then yes maybe you do need it because you dont know how to feather the throttle. My ls1 with 225 now tire goes through 5inches of snow no problem. Ive never even used the SGS to help me, just know I have it.

maybe its v8s only. You try putting the car in 2 and see if it feels like it rolls out in second and doesnt shift 1-2-3-od?

actually it is quite handy, and I do know how to feather the throttle..... I just know that in all the michigan winters I have driven in, it helps keep from spinning the tires when there is alot of snow

in second it shifts 1-2... won't go past 2

it could be v8s only. idk about them
