Hey everyone. I may end up bringing the Camaro down to California with me afterall this summer. My family is currently putting money into it now but living in Oceanside has seriously changed my driving habits from colorado springs standards. Normally it would take me 35-hr drive to get somewere back in Colorado but here Oceanside I normally spend less than 10 minutes driving somewere the longest I have been on the road has been over an hour driving up to Los Angeles which is why I wanna bring it. Soon I could be biking to work and getting a Garage in my Apartment that would permit me to bring the camaro here safely and use it when I need it.
My roommate has a Dodge Stratus 4 banger so even if gas gets over $6.00 a gallon we've got this covered. My only concern is Smog testing. My car has a Thrush exhaust and Intake which to my understanding thats an automatic fail. Is there any possible loop holes I can use to my advantage? Like making my car smog excempt?
But seriously theres a place down the street were I live that can paint my car better than Macco for $400. Also West Coast Customs is opening up shop in the neighborhood. I wanna enjoy the T-Top near the beach. :)
