Got any pictures of how yours is mounted up? I want it to be as discreet as possible, that's why I got a black one...

I took off the front bumper support and mounted mine , didn't have any troubles and thats in the AZ heat. Stock cooling only uses the air dam so making a cut out of the front bumper just gives the intercooler air it needs.

I finally drove my Camaro hard today(After a year sitting) and after driving my truck for so long I forgot how quick it really is, it was pretty fun. I had to find where my bad wire was for the tranny since it was in Limp mode and would only drive in 3rd gear. Found the bad wire and then found a bad wire on the TPS sensor. Fixed them and after a oil change took it for a spin. Its so much quicker than my 6.0l truck I was surprised. It was running alittle lean(13's) so I'm going to flash it tonight and do another test run tomorrow and see how it runs. I try to keep the A/F around in the 12's.

Your Camaro is definitely one of my favorites. I always check out your site.

So is the ideal AF ratio at idle is around 14-15 and at full throttle at 12's. I've been thinking of getting a wide band. I only have a soft tune to my bird.

Yeah the computer will command 14.7 at idle, since I have a cam and 1.7 rockers I shoot for around 12.5 and if FI around 11.5. Its nice to have a wideband esp. if your tunning. I'm still running 65LB injectors, so I just tune it by the injectors and don't use PE at all. I haven't been updating my site much but I'm going to try to update it more often. When I get my car detailed next week I'm going to post more pics and post my t-top install. I got alot of parts to put on like LS1 front brakes and the last thing to do is reinstall my turbo.

Added some fuel and now in the 12's for A/F at WOT. Still can't find my random misfire though. I get the PO300 and sometimes a PO171 which is lean on the drivers side. Might be a lower intake leak don't know. Oil was clean, full and doesn't seem to be missing coolant. Also the car runs great all through the rpms. On my Aeroforce scan gauge it shows misfires on Cyl. 3 and 5. I might try some stop leak again in the coolant in case it is the lower intake manifold.

Drove over an hour to pick up an engine stand and hoist I scored for $100 on craigslist. Lightly modified/re-enforced stand because the mounting plate broke when the guy had a big block Chrysler on it, but it's now heavy duty and will be able to hold way more than what a 3800III weighs!

Ehhh... I'm soo leery of those damn things now. While I was swapping mine, the 1200lb work load chain snapped and dropped my new motor 6ft. luckily it didn't damage anyone around, or anything I needed, but definitely woke us up.

Oh man, that would be scary. The hoist wasn't modified, just the stand. He welded a 3/4" plate on instead of the 3/8 or 1/2 that it came with. He gusseted the frame as well. Said he had no issues after that with the BB Chrysler on it or a Cummins Diesel out of his pick-up. I looked over the hoist real well to make sure nothing was bent, broke, or leaking, and it all looked good to me. Then again, things do like to break without warning sometimes...

                          • Went to my favorite salvage yard to see if I could find the honey comb tail lights I had found about 2 weeks ago. And no luck they were gone along with a new alternator I had seen on a firebird. Literaly new still had its ac delco stickers on it.

Only use full thing I found was an air aid high flow filter. Didn't do much search on it but looked at their website and its 80 $:o lol I got it for 2.50 $ and its new not even dirty.
Threw it on the bird so it can brrath better since the paper filter needed replacement anyways:D

Ordered my custom grind cam about 20 minutes ago.. Should have everything I need to start a build thread, just waiting for it to warm up now.. While the world had the 4th warmest January on record, here in the midwest, we've had record or near-record lows all winter. We still have a foot of snow in most places and we've only had a handful of days above freezing.. Makes it hard to go out and work on the car...
