pretty much, our program will never be great again. All the space coast talent is fleeing the area since they are laid off, Cape caneveral real estate is plummeting.

The space program will never have cold war space race money to bring everyone back.


Good news is I work with tons of ex-space coast people.

I was as a machinist at NASA in Houston. We are alive and well. Granted they did lay off almost all of the shuttle workers, but we do mostly station work over here. We are working 55 hour weeks in the shop.
