Nice car! and thats one of my favorite colors for sure.

The springs are probably worn out if they have been on there the entire 100k miles, making them softer than normal.

Welcome. Nice find. When lowering consider front end clearance if DD It looks awesome but it sucks when you chip/crush/damage your nose. Just something to consider before you drop the $$$.

Another question, what can i do about that body molding on the side that is fading. What can be done about that?

I've got the same issue with mine. I don't want to take off the modlings. I'm thinking of spray painting them. The passenger side is actually fine on mine. the driver's side is the problem because it faces south most of the time.

Yeah, mine are fading to the point where they are almost white. lol

I'll probably end up removing them, as I dont like the way it looks with them on.
