are the fwd and the rwd 3.4 the same bell housing pattern.

If your talking about the auto trans they are similar in that you can bolt a fwd engine to a rwd but the starters are on the opposite side. I'm running a 3500 engine bolted to my 3.4 auto tranny now. The 3400 bolt pattern should be the same. As far as the manual trans I would think it would be the same also. -
