  • Cruising the Coast

I posted this in the southern region, but idk if anyone even checks there. I will be driving from el paso to Alabama (1200 miles) to attend cruising the coast (in Mississippi) if anyone is close and would want to meet up and cruise in a row of sixxers.

If you dont know, just google cruising the coast, it is a 29 mile car show and what not.

I may hit it up since it is right here. I just work 6 days a week at 11 hrs per day, so having time is the biggest problem

I'll be cruising some and parking some. I almost have my bird back together (less complete exhaust) and ready to cruise.

Just saw it cost $75 for registration...

I would like to go to the swap meet, I think that would be fun.

                  Re: Cruising the Coast

yah thats the normal cost of the event but just cruising around the area is free. also i think my gf's parents are putting their nomad in the auction there as well. ill be outhere on saturday for cruising around after 1:30 to 3 pm. a word of advice is to put in a manual fan switch. there is alot of stop and go traffic at this event. average to cruise all the way across is about 1.5 to 2 hours it seems like.

it was a boxter and got hit by a large lifted truck that "didn't see her" but it only dented the rear fender on the car.

                      Re: Cruising the Coast

I used to go to the cruise every year. I have the fans set to come on at 170 degrees and i have the 180 degree thermostat. I wont be entering the car show, just cruising the route and looking at the stuff. If yall wanna meet up to just cruise together just message me and we can do this

So do I understand the whole thing right: basically there are 3 or 4 places where there are car shows. They are all happening at the same time? And then there is a swap meet at the center.

I have never been in the past, but I thought it was like 1 day it was in 1 location, then the next day in a different location.

And no worry about the fans, I have mine set to kick on at 185*.

Pensacola. It is about a 2hrs drive for me to that area, which means I can cut it down to about an hour and a half. lol
