Finally got ahold of one. A member on FTV6 had an Holden Upper Intake he didn't need and so he sent it my way. Finally arrived in my hands tonight
Being it is the xmas holidays and I have a little bit more time on my hands, I'll hopefully have some time to rethink how I want to make this piece work and exactly which route I plan on taking with it.
It's a better design than our intake setup. Plus it makes for a ton easier to fabricate a custom top piece for these cars. They are just damn hard to get a hold of. Only a handful of guys are running these
08' L76 6.0L 4X4 Chevy EXT.Cab LTZ Vortec MAX with Snug top cover, Dynomax exhaust,Hptuners& K&N intake
96' Camaro M5 to A4 conversion, alot of mods . GT35R Turbo full suspension. Built engine
Wait, Is that a V6 or V8? 1990 Chevrolet C-K 1500 series 4.3L .. 5spd
1994 JDM Euno Roadster 1.8L 5spd Bolt Ons.. etc 2000 Camaro 3.8L Auto Bolt Ons..etc
Well an M90 takes the place of an intake, so no. Shouldn't change a SC top swap. Definitely looks better though.
Yeah I kinda figured that out after looking at more pics of a gtp that I almost bought. Guess I was thinking of something else that people swap from holdens. But I dont think I could get rid of my ram air offset intake. I hate to say it but it kinda looks like fords 3.8L.
I bought the LIM probably 3 years ago. I luckily stumbled upon getting the upper free about a month ago and it finally got into my hands the other day.
It'll still be a long time before this thing gets on. I need to build off a custom upper intake manifold using this piece, then port both the lower piece and match the upper piece.
Then there is always after thoughts of nitrous...maybe adding provisions in for a hidden system. I've seen it on other manifolds. Run a direct injection style to all 6 runners from underneath where that tiny space is. When it's on the car no one would be able to see it, or maybe a meth setup...
^ sorry I was dreaming out loud lol.
I can't move to an LS....They still have the track open??
I downloaded a DA finder application on my Iphone, it retrieves it automatically from your current location...I've been checking it daily. I bet if you go now you could beat that time even more so...but that's solid nonetheless
Haven’t done anything on the Camaro, but put LEDs on my truck headlights . And my oil pressure sensor went out on the truck so going to fix that this...
