Pontiac G8 GT. Pacific Slate Mettalic with the 6.0L. Just picked it up on Saturday. I must say bravo GM, this thing is awesome. It's got speed, handles, and luxury with 4 doors. It's just too quiet, so first thing is some good exhaust notes. Then I'm thinking about powder coating the wheels either white or flat black.

A buddy of mine had a white G8 GT...I give him **** all the time now for getting rid of it for a Dodge Dart. It's 3rd in line on my list of dream cars. (Firehawk, CTS-V, G8 GT/GXP). :tup:
BTW the windshield is SGS's "acoustic" glass that's designed to reduce noise from the outside
I know about the noise dampening in the cabin. But it's hard to brag about a BA V8 with out the growl. Lol. It's a great car and would recommend it to anyone. Good looking curves, all around visually pleasing color selection, simple but elegant interior. I hope the chevy SS lives up to this.
It's really too bad Pontiac got the knife. I was really liking what they had to offer in their last few years between this, the GTO, the Solstice, and even the G6 wasn't too bad. I'm a huge fan of the G8 and it's definitely on my list of cars I want to own, congrats!
X2 on the plastidip. I dipped the wheels on my '99 last summer and they are still holding up. I also agree on the flat black for the wheels. Good looking car mang.
