I've never worked on bearings before so I'm learning something from you.

You're definitely one of the people in this planet that I want to see succeed. You've worked so hard on that car.

I've spent a year and half on trying to bring back the 3rd gen. Just when I thought I was finish another one pops up. As soon as I fix that another thing breaks.

All I can tell you, there's definitely a light at the end of that tunnel. I've learned a lot from restoring and repairing and I wouldn't trade that experience for anything.

Yea man I know. I have a leak, oil and power stearing also ... and me now fresh out of hight school. No job. Right now I'm just waiting to get a call for jobs I aplied. I have all my ASE certifications exept a/c but I'm sure I can get it just need the money to get it and take the exam. I have been offered a job at honda but I need my license. And I need money to do that also. Right now its really hard. I'm planing to get onother 4th gen. But I need to save up for that also haha. But il pull through. My bird hast let me down ill keep fixing it untill tne wheels fall off. Heck just last night I went to a car meet that's local to me and people liked my car. I was 1 of 3 birds there. Out of about 70 cars. And trust me my car is no where show quality but its decent. And still turned heads.:D

Where I live, your sopose to get a sticker to park here every month you pay rent. This last month they did not. So they took my car. Black bull towing did here in dallas. I heard honking n sounded like my bird. And I walk out side. And see this car flashing its lights and honking. I look down and I don't see my car. And my heart drops. I thought they stole it so I run up stairs call the cops and they tell me it just got towed. They give me a number to call and its the towing company. So I call they tell me to call in 45 min. So I wait and call and ask why they take it and its cause the parking sticker was over due. Now I wait till 9 am to go taln to the manager of the apt. I walk in and tell them they took my car and you did not give me a new sticker and that's why they took it. They argued that it was my fault for not asking for it. The other maneger told me that they would give me one when I pay rent and this new one said that's not how it works now. This last month I did not go pay the rent I gave my mother the money cause I was at school . She went and paid they did not give her one. So I had to go pay the 303.87 to get it out. And I find the freshly painted front bumper scraped up at the bottom front tip. And the rear bumper has deep scraches now from the tow thing. Now I'm 300 short. But hey I got my car back tho :)

That's ridiculous. I think you should pursue it a little further... If your rent is on time there is no reason a landlord should treat a paying renter that way. I'd go talk to the manger or the owner of the building.

I highly doubt the owner of the building would be in favour of towing his paying renters cars...

They said it was not their fault so they won't do any thing about it. I'm moving before the 31 of this month . I'm not paying this next months rent . F-that. N plus I don't have enough anymore .

Update guys , today I bought a quart of oil since I was low and also decide to fix my window it would leave about half an inch open . So I took on a task.


Before I start tho let me say this I'm on a budget so a cbeap easy way to fix is the way to go for now

Things used were : philips and flat head screw driver and a out 40 zip ties.

First I took this off


Then this

After those 2 things were off I took off 3 big screws 2 were under the arm rest and one at the very bottomin that pouch area
The nust lift the panel up and its off.


Niw the problem with my door was that some one messed with it way before me it had holse drilled and stuff idk if that's normal or what . But also there are 5 or 6 rivets that are sopose to hold the window motor. And on the picture above mine only had 3 and one was about to come out. Also slowly damaging the holes. So I did this
Now my window goes up and the damage stoped. Hopefully it holds up. Took me and hour. Quick fix. And for only 2 bucks.
