There is this place...wrll there's 2 of them here arouns where I live. Its not a junk yard but they have a huge lot, and I mean huge. The size of 3 or 4 football fields and its nothing but whecked cars. A week ago I saw a trans am that was rear ended. I couldn't tell of ot was a bird or a t/A. Any ways it says open to the public. Need to go check that out and see how much would they sell a trans am or a camaro.
My point, and everyone else that's saying to buy a donor car, is that the thread linked to is a perfect example of what can happen when you piece a swap together. Especially if you have no place to do it yourself and need a shop to do it for you. A donor car should have everything you need from the engine and trans to the interior pieces like the center console and gauge cluster..
Took out my sound system to lighten up the rear and have more space. Might buy a extra set of rims I saw on craigs . Camaro rims16s with falken tires 50 percent left on them for 130, or should I get some 18 and they are the newer style rims for the 5th gen camaros but they come with no tires for 200 . Ahh what to pick
08' L76 6.0L 4X4 Chevy EXT.Cab LTZ Vortec MAX with Snug top cover, Dynomax exhaust,Hptuners& K&N intake
96' Camaro M5 to A4 conversion, alot of mods . GT35R Turbo full suspension. Built engine
Well the patern for 5th gens are 5x120 and ours is 5x120.65 so I think they should fit but now I found a set of 4th gen camaro rims that were chrome but they painted them over and they come with tires. I'm kinda stuck between these 2 . The 4th gens or 5th gens. There just going to be my spare rims for drifting.
I would test fit one to be sure, theres a reason no one has 5th gens on their 4th gens here.

Il be sure to do that before I buy them. I don't like the way they look cause it looks like a hot wheels car with em on but if there 18 and as spares I would buy em if they fit.
The 5th gen wheels will bolt up, whether or not it's safe to drive with them on is another story... They share the same bolt pattern as BMW's. I've seen 1 4th gen F-Body with 5th gen wheels, and 2 with BMW wheels... I don't think I would trust driving too hard on them tho for fear of shearing off a few wheel studs...

I decided I'm going to go with the camaro 16s I'm going to try and put him down to 90 one tire has a chunk missing from the edge of the tread. The 18 would be to much strees on the suspention , heck its all ready 13 years old. Why make it worse. Still need to do bushing replacments also. Gata look into that
Update guys. I have tooken out my sound system. Why? Well I grew out of it. Dont need it and its more wheight to carry in the bird and takes a lot of space. I just need to sell it to buy that extra set of rims. I also found some formula rims and I liked thkse also sunce they look like my stock ones but with just a twist.
Any ways that's out and I put my t-top holders back in. But for some reason the trunk is always humid. After it rains. Idk why or from where the watter gets in but when I first got the car . It would get full of water back there. Until I found the drain hole lid thing. That how the water kept out since then. If any one has figure out and has had the same problem let me know.
And today I got up early to wash my firebird since it needed a cleanin real bad . After that I went on a cruise and decided to take some pics . Some got ruined cause the sun did not want to co-operate (how ever you spell it lol) and cause shadows take a look these are the best ones of the bunch.
I know you guys are familiar with with the ws6 badge but have yall seen the w68 badge? It looks just like the ws6 it just says w68. I saw this on a picture on google whille looking for some ideas for badges
Hi, everyone. We bought a 97 base model convertible Camaro and someone broke the motor ... Lights were blinking on the dash and that someone ignored the...
Still trying to find oil leak on my Camaro, it’s a tough one. I think it is the oil pressure sender myself. Leaking when raving and going into boost....
