  • Dyno Day 2013

Got my car on the dyno again at this years Lane Automotive Car Show here in Watervliet, Mi. Unfortunately, my car has not been tuned yet, so these numbers are a little low for my setup, but I'll be tuning it over the next few weeks. This is the same tune that put down 195hp, 225tq on a stock motor with open longtube headers.

244hp, 254tq on an SAE Corrected Portable DynoJet.
Abbott Racing Heads angle milled for a bump in compression to around 11:1
    Intense-Racing Stage 3 cam
    FFF Longtube headers
Custom 2.5 True Dual Exhaust over the axle and out the back
    Tuned for a stock motor.

There's still a lot to be gained out of this setup, but for a 50hp, 30tq increase without a tune, I'm mostly satisfied with its results.
A couple of vids from the dyno run (click on them to play):

Thanks, I'm mostly happy with the results. I just need to tune it to get everything out of the new setup.

Those are very good #'s for a soft tune. Like to see what you'll actually put down once it is properly tuned.

M5. The stock 5-speed and 10-bolt should be strong enough for my current power goals.

And I'm debating if I want to street tune it myself, or have ZZP do it since they're fairly local to me. I've already been in contact with them, and Tim didn't give me tooo hard of a time about using ARH and Intense parts..lol
