  • Hey Guys!

I haven't been around much but I check in here and there. Just wanted to say, Hi!

I've got a bit of an update to things, car and otherwise.. I can't remember how much I've told you guys but a reminder wouldn't hurt.. I bought a house a few years back, finally married my gf last year in August. So far so good.

And for the car news.. I traded in my 02 and bought an 03 dodge ram. The car was on it's last legs, suspension and frame wise. These Ohio winters got to it and started eating away at the body. The engine and trans was still perfect. They gave me 2000 for it and I felt lucky getting that much. I really really like this truck though, especially for snow. 2003, 48,000 miles no rust, 4x4, 5.7 hemi, black, quad cab, ram air hood. I'm having o2 sensor problems though that's making it run bad unless I keep it in open loop.. High voltage codes that I'm currently blaming on a faulty PCM. Tracing down a problem was never this hard on my Camaro. :twak: Yay, Chrysler. Anyways, if I remember to, I'll post up some pics in the other rides section.

Oh, I've still got the turbo charged 98. I won't get rid of that. Still runs amazing.

Well at least you still got the turbo 98', I was tempted to get another Camaro or even a Corvette before I got my 08' Silverado. But I really didn't want another sports car rather have a 4X4 truck so I could go off road to go camping and shooting. I'm glad I went with the truck in the end.

I looked for silverados first thing and they're expensive as hell! A man needs a truck though, and I really love having one. I'm actually going camping for the first time this weekend. Nothing deepwoods or anything but it'll be able to haul more than my camaro could.

It was really hard to find a decently priced truck with low miles around here. This was, by far the best buy I could get. Some guys love their dodges, I love mine, but I just wish someone else made it because of these stupid problems I'm having. Oh man, the clips they use for everything that plugs in are so annoying. One awesome hidden feature is pulling CEL codes from the odometer by turning the key 3 times. Haha, unfortunately I've been using it a lot. I'll take some pics of it this weekend, it's a good lookin' truck.

That's what I mean! lol...I think they have awesome looking trucks, I mean they look mean as hell especially jacked up, but they always have the dumbest problems and very poor quality control.

Yeah I bought mine in 2011 with 26,000 miles for $27,000( I know for that price I could of had a couple of LS1's or a bad @ss Vette)LOL, Its the LTZ 6.0 liter with every option and had upgraded 18" wheels, the snug top fiberglass cover, tinted windows and tinted wind guards for the windows and the chrome side steps. Now with 52,000 miles only stuff I have done is new tires, brakes, Replaced both batteries( I added a 2nd Optima), exhaust, K&N intake and I upgraded the Bose stereo, nothing has gone wrong with it yet (knock on wood) Just do the regular oil changes and get it detailed every year to keep up on the paint.
