I lurk here every once in a while. I really should post more often.
I got an e-mail from Ford about the EcoBoost Tour. It's a free test drive event that lets people test drive Fords against the competition on a test track (unfortunately, not on a real race track, but a large coned-off area away from public roads).
For anyone who likes to test drive cars without the intent of buying (I'll plead guilty to that) you can drive the cars at the show without being harassed by salesmen.
Here's the link:

Half of the tour is over, but there's still Houston TX, Columbus OH, Chicago IL, San Francisco CA, and Indianapolis, IN.
That said, I still have my 2001 Firebird with 49,800 miles on it. It's sitting pretty in the garage all pampered and waxed. I only drive it on weekends because my commute is hazardous. (too many big rigs hauling gravel)
I plan to keep the bird until I get too old to drive. :)
