  • Some fun in the LS1

Since the LS1 is going in the garage in the next day or so...figured I'd get in a 0-130k video...(or a 0-81mph video for you Americans)

Something to compare to for when I get the headers on it this winter...she's actually pretty quick considering it only has an SLP lid, corsa exhaust, 3.73's and an SS3600 stall

I was going to say that's insanely fast - then I saw the KMH... I tend to forget you're in Canada. :twak:

Hahah ya 0-81mph for you guys...still pretty quick though considering I don't even have headers on this thing yet, and the big 8.8 axles are slowing me down! Plus, due to traction issues, I couldnt even stall right up and launch lol

Sounds good, when are you going to get some times so you can compare it to the 3.8?

next season- I wanted to hit the track this season, but time got away from me and my buddy sold his drag radials that I was going to borrow (my weld prostars didn't fit over the ls1 brakes)

Once the headers are on, I'll be pushing for high 11's is what my goal will be...see if I get there...

Have you used spacers so the Prostars would fit? Thats what I did with my Prostars( 1/4" spacer).

They don't like spacers being used at the track- so I'm on the hunt for new wheels this year (I already sold the prostars anyways)

Thats true, I always wanted some Weld front and rears but I like my ZR1's.
