As much as I wanted a V8, I couldn't stand to wait for the dash to crack, the center console lid break, or keep replacing the window motors every two years.

Yeah, to be fair I daily a new Mercedes and only drive my z28 on the weekends. They just continue to put a smile on my face even when I'm swapping out the window motors for the 8 millionth time.
I still have my 1993 Firebird and it is still my DD.
I still do all of the maintenance on it myself and enjoy every minute of it.
Although this site is pretty deserted lately, I still browse it for updates.
The 02 is no more! Sold that thing for a truck and I don't regret it. These Ohio winters were murder on the frame. And now I have a kid on the way. Weird.
Still have my 96' camaro will begin modding again next month will a new cam and stall plus some extras.

Still here! I don't check in as much but I still have my camaro. Bought it new in 2000 and it just hit 114k miles the other day. I need to put an a/c compressor and accumulator on it. I'm glad to see this site still around and I hope it stays. It brings back a lot of memories for me reading through some of the old posts, I've been around for 15 years now. Maybe we can get this place going again, lol!
all sites in general for cars are fading, more people are transitioning to pages on facebook and such. Too bad because knowledge that is stored is lost. I started bowtiev6.com because this site didn't hit the need for the 5th gen market. Even bowtiev6.com is quiet compared to what car sites used to be.
