Drag racers have been using this idea for years but they use the exhaust mounted evacuation system. I have seen this kind of a system installed on a corvette street car. I'm sure you would see some hp gain on a street car but very minimal. To me its not worth the cost, time and problems if the vacuum pump fails.

Years ago when I had a supercharged 95 Riviera I had to replace the SC gasket. The parts didn't have on in stock so I grabbed a roll of gasket material and made my own.
I missed the hole that let the PCV system vent to the air intake which resulted in full vacuum to my crankcase. There was no power gain, there was however the most interesting noise as air was sucked in past the front and rear main seals.
