  • 05 mustang?

What do you guys think of the 05 mustang? I've never been a real mustang fan besides the shelby GT500. I don't think it acutally looks all that bad. Wonder how much there going to go for. They say the GT's going to put 300 hp and 315 lbtq. Is a mustang ever going to put more power than a camaro? I'm talking GT vs Z28. Anyways I like the way it looks.

I've seen it and I wasn't all that impress. I would rather have the Mach version of the mustang from the old school rather a duplicate.

It looks kinda cool ... weird ... but kinda cool. But, it's still a mustang ... EW! ;) Don't even think about gettin' one, Seth, or you will lose that bet with your dad (which I know you will anyway)!! HaHa!

Well seeing one in person, I dont like it. I mean the cabin part of the outside, the area after the front of the car and before the rear end. The middle section of the car especially the hood still looks like the 99-04 years. It is as if they took an 04 chopped the front off and the rear and put on a classic retro fron and back.
That rullened the line, not as clean looking. they needed to change the frame a little bit to fit that boddy style, to make the fron flow from front to back, not stick out like sore thumbs. I see a lot of chopped roofs in the future.

The 05 z28s are better looking in my opinion....oh wait...damn... GM doesn't even make a car to compete anymore.... (GTO falls way to short)

I really really hope folks at GM hurry up and get the camaro up and going again... those mustangs are starting to look preety sweet.

Not going to happen, never will happen. That would be kicking myslef in the a$$. You know how I'm always making fun of my mom's b/f for driving a mustang. I could only imagine what he'd say if I ever bought one. I wouldn't though! I'm not going to lose the bet, I'm stil getting the TT! Even though my Dad say's I should get the 350Z. He saw some specail on it and really liked it, but I really don't want to put $5-600 a month.

Yeah, that 2-door, 4-seater, V8 sports car with 350 horsepower is no competition for a Mustang. Granted, it's more expensive, but still...

You can get a new GTO, Lancer Evo, or WRX STi in that same price range, all of which are sportier-looking and better-performing.

I looked at getting an STI and a EVO, but there still not an Fbody. I don't think i'd buy a GTO they look to much like the grand am.

I still want to see it more but one thing I liked about it was the interior. It felt more lower to the ground and laid down feel then the current mustang. The car also felt bigger on a whole more like an f-body and less like a cavalier.

But ehh they are gonna be kind of pricey. Stll want to see more in person and go for a test drive.

I like how they look, but it is still a Mustang. I would never buy one. I would rather get an older cheaper fbody and spend my money on it.
