THIS TOPIC IS ADDRESSED TO NON SMOKERS. IF YOU ARE A SMOKER, PLEASE SHUT UP AND DO NOT REPLY. THE TITLE OF THIS THREAD WAS NOT "ALL SMOKERS, PLEASE COME IN AND PISS AND MOAN ABOUT NONSMOKERS". IF NONSMOKERS WANTED YOUR OPINION ON NOT SMOKING THEY WOULD HAVE ASKED FOR IT.

I don't smoke because my uncle died very, Very, VERY painfully from lung cancer. Plus my dad had 3 heart surgeries due to the smoking he did when he was a teenager.

I never smoked, plus my dad just had a major heart attack.
Diagnosis straight from the doctors mouth - "The cause of this heart attack was his smoking."

I guess Im lucky, I am am allergic to cig smoke. Even if I gave in to what ever "reason/presssure" that smokers give in to. I simply can't, When I walk into a smoke filled room my eyes water, my chest seises up and it makes to very difficult to inhale, then I normally end up with a sinus or chest infection the next day.

I just dont see why people do it.

Its like licking a new york sidewalk once a day, you may not die immediately, but eventually its gonna catch up to ya, and your gonna get sick and die. Thats not much of a stress reliver for me.

I dont smoke anymore. I did from the age of 14 to about 21 on and off but I havent done it since. I dont see the benefits of it.

i dont smoke and never have. but smoking doesnt bother me either (as long as you aren't smoking menthol).

I don't smoke anymore either. My "personal" opinion, smokes can get you addicted faster than beer alcohol or even pot. They're also harder to stop.
