You want sympathy? This ain't the place... people like you make it tough for other fbody owners... Show some respect to the police and obey the laws, and let them focus on ricers.

That's how it is in our town. I run a local fbody club with my wife and we wont allow any negative posts about the police... further to that we do charity stuff and talk to the cops and ask questions when we see that at our meets... they like us and tell us about all the activity and it's all against ricers!

It makes a difference...dont' kid yourself and think it doesn't!

If you lived in my town and was pulling that sh*t i'd come and kick yer a$$ :D

That I why I will be installing mini-cams and voice recorders in my car later on down the road. I have ran into a few ***hole cops that I wish I had some proof against them. But like everyone else is saying, I have been at fault for most of my tickets. there have only been 2 incidents in which I know I wasn't at fault, but thats why I go to court. But Niky does have a point, in that there's no reason for cops to be dicks (even though they are by nature through the environment they work in) just because they think every teen disrespects them. Can't the conversation go...

"you know you ----------, right?"
"yes, sorry officer."
(give a warning and let go, or proceed to take down licence and registration information).
"Here you go." (give ticket)

Was your car in motion when he saw that you had no front plate? If it wasnt and it was parked..how the heck can it be a MOVING violation? I've never heard of ANYONE getting a moving violation for no front plate. I mean ive had like 10 tickets for no front plate. I just cant see ruining my bumper by drilling holes in it. Plus the front end looks so much sexier without a plate. I guess im just a dumbass kuz id rather pay the fines than put a front plate on. Oh well I cant complain..I COULD just put the plate on LoL :D

You dont necesarily need to drive like a "Tool" to get a ticket. </font>[/QUOTE]you could also have something happen to you like what happened to me... guy cut me off, slammed on the brakes, and i hit him from behind because there simply wasn't enough room to stop. i could go left, there was oncoming traffic. i couldn't go right, there were other cars and a telephone pole. the only thing i could do was brake as hard as i could and still hit him. i didn't even do anything wrong. he cut me off, and that's that. when you rear-end somebody, you're pretty much ****ed lol. it can happen to anybody at any time. some people just get lucky and never run into anything like that. some people it happens to a lot. just a mix of good driving and luck i suppose.

People do not understand that there is many groups that cops have.

Cops that give out tickets for little things are usually anal people when they are off duty, they are usually disliked by other cops on the department, because they think they are better than other people.

All 4 of my parents are cops. Sometimes they would find marijuana in cars, if it was a small ammount they would throw it away. Tell the person to forget about it, and give them a ticket for whatever else they could find wrong. If the people they pulled over were being real jerks, they would give out tickets. But they didnt pull people over for having tinted windows, blinkers out, loud exhaust, no plate on front. They pulled people over for speeding, wreckless driving, stolen cars, warrants, suspicious activity. Cops are nothing special. They are like you and me, but when you give certain people power, they become jackasses. It's just nature.

After my parents have been working for about 15 years on the force, they didnt have to work the street anymore as far as giving traffic violations, unless they raw someone really driving badly. They basically had real assignments. The cops that sit around and pick off cars all day for piddly things are the real anal cops that have no life. Seriously they dont.

My mother said everytime she pulled someone over she had to write up a report, she didnt want to waste her time giving out BS tickets. It wastes her time and pisses off other people. But see alot of people in the world, they live for making other people angry, alot of people like to see others fail, they like to be azzholes. It's just the truth.

Unfortunately many cops are azzholes. Especially cops in rural areas, they have nothing better to do. These rural fellas rarely see a mangled dead bodys and crack whores roaming the streets.

Like in my old neighborhood, if you drove a rusty car that was kinda beat up. You would get pulled over immediately, harrassed by 3 cop cars, ready to take you down. They pulled my girlfriend over in her brothers 96 honda, it was a little rusty, had some bondo. lol, they pulled 3 cops up behind her car, made her get out, they searched her, then searched her the car. I see this happen all the time on my old road, never nice cars pulled over, always beaters.

This one night some guy and his son got into a fight in the front yard. 9 squads pulled up to this house. NINE! It was just a boxing match. And they both got arrested.

Tells you that Franklin wisconsin's police force is a bit bored huh?

If he made your no front plate ticket into a moveing violation, the ticket is bull! Just be polite to the judge and clearly explain yourself and hell drop the charg. But you'll have to mount the plate and get it inspected.

I reacently had a 5 day tag for no front plate so I removed my grill ,screwed the plate on got it inspected pulled the plate back off and then just put my grill back on .

What's also weird? is when I got my ticket, I had a month to send the payment in, in Florida and Alabama... it was a speeding ticket and the other in Florida was a registration not in vehicle ticket, i had to send proof and like 4 bucks...

Thats lucky...in Oregon its $350 if you don't have it period and $150 if you can prove it was registed and not in the vehicle.

I know what ya mean ... I don't want holes in my car, and it does look kinda dumb with the plate on.

That's one of the reasons I was so pissed at the stupid cop. Once he unblocked my car, he pulled over and I was forced to get in front of him to keep traffic moving. He got right behind me, and once I pulled out of the parking lot onto the main road, he turned on his lights and pulled me over. I guess cuz I was technically moving, it's a moving violation. However, like I said, a bunch of my friends got the same ticket in the same town, and it was only $25 or so, not a moving violation. We'll see tomorrow, I guess!

I took some pictures of the car with a plate on (ductaped, haha ... I'm not driving tomorrow), and hopefully the cop won't even show up and it will be dropped. A bit scared tho ... I'm a virgin to all this ticket/court crap! [img]smile.gif[/img]

Anywho, sorry for such an uproar ... but guys ... I had a good reason to be a bit*h ... this time at least! ;)

Tail Lights and Head Lights go out and if a cop is having a bad day he hook you up with a ticket. Never say youll never get a ticket cause usually when you say that it happens. I said that when i first got license 3 months later moms lumina was in a ditch. Im never driving that damn car in rain again. Il stick the car im used to. My camaro.

I still DONT think he can give you a Moving violation for no front plate...it could be different where you live but id still at least check it out. It sounds kinda funny. Ill admit cops really piss me off..but im always calm and courteous even when they towed my truck and ripped the front airdamn off..I shouldnt have been driving under suspension...and I shouldnt have tinted the windows to 5% otherwise i wouldnt have gotten arrested. Or that time i did a nitrous burnout in front of 2 officers..since i was cool and nice I got off with IMPROPER start instead of wreckless op. Ive had my license suspended more than ive actually spent time driving. Id say since i was 16 my license was suspended a total of 3 years. Im only 21 now. Ive learned my lesson since i pay almost 300$ a month for a freakin S10 pickup. Ive been ticket free for a year now. And hopefully it stays that way for alot longer.
