How many of you owners have gotten into actually gotten into the firmware and starting hacking it up?

I started a few days ago and made some fun changes... I'll try to get some screen shots shortly.

I decided its not worth the hassle just to change a few icons.

3G 40GB almost maxed out.... should be hearing about new models in the next couple weeks. Hoping for a new 80GB iPhoto :D

As for not worth it... yeah... kinda like not worth modifying a car. Nothing personal in that either

Hey, that was just a personal opinion. If anybody else wants to do it, that's fine by me.

Here's how you do it, for those of you wondering
          http://www.engadget.com/entry/1234000610023097/

Remember, unless you go the route of "updating" your firmware, you'll have to load all your music and data back on after you "restore".

Or you can google alterPod. This is for the Mac... and those of you on the PC... you all can google iPodWizard :D

And yes... it's all opinions. I just don't know how to leave anything in factory form... look at all my other toys. Nothing I own goes without me "improving" it some how :D
