That's probably what we are going to do! We took 8 days off work ... so we are going to drive to LA and back on 66 ... we'll spend the nights in towns off the route, or sleep in the car. It should be awesome. I've never seen the mountains, the desert, or the ocean ... so it will be great! Any places we should stop at on the way?? We are going to take a northern route back ... mix it up a bit.
