I found this on a local board and it seems decent as something to pass the time. You can start alliances, spy on people, build factories, buy troops, jets, tanks, subs, and launch all out war on other people in the game.
Yeah, it's kind of slow in that way. It only gives you one turn every twenty minutes but most things only take 2-3 turns unless your are doing attacks on somebody then it takes more.
Edit: Also, you can go into the "extra turns" tab at the bottom and get ~12 extra turns every day.
