Info on an RS?

I'm looking for some info on what exactly an RS Camaro is, I know it's an upgraded v6, but I'm not certain exactly what upgrades were done to bring it up to the RS level. Could anyone provide some insight or possibly a link to a site with an explanation?

all i know is it has that 3 piece spoiler and body kit. maybe the y87 upgrade too? idk. someone will know.

I don't know any links, but I believe its only a visual upgrade. I think it comes with ground effect and a special spoiler. And I THINK chrome wheels. Correct me if I'm wrong guys, I'm a FIrebird guy, not too familiar with Camaro's.

The look of a 96-97 RS is awesome. The look fo them in my rear view mirror is great. I want the RS ground FX, SS hood and a 98+ SS spoiler. mmmmmmm hot.

I have a true RS camaro. See my website. I hate when people post a camaro for sale and say it is a RS when really it is just the base camaro. They see camaro/rs when they are getting a bluebook value or running the vin and automatically assume they have an RS which is not true and misleading to potential buyers.
