That was the yearly defecit....not the long term deficit....idiot....It would be hard to pay off trillions in 4 years.

Was makes me mad is that in the protest, which is every persons right, he participated it throwing there medals or ribbons...but he just pretended to throw them, I have seen an interview where he admits to it.

            1) We have always been in a deficet, even before we were a country. The only way it will go away is if we make everyone pay up that we have ever helped out. Plus the government in general will need to learn to keep their fingers out of the cookie jar.

            2) How do you get that the war was started on lies and deceit? The war on terror? It was started because the president who preceded bush sat on is thumbs and tied the hands of our intelligence gathering.

            3) Who cares if he claims he has been in a war or not? At least he didn't go to war. Used connections to get him out before he was supposed to. Used connections to get medals that other people deserved more and ends up throwing them (or someone else's) away. Then upon returning home abandons his fellow soldiers and his country by protesting the war to start his political career. Now he does an about-face an uses his Vietnam Vetran status because he NOW feels that it is to his advantage.

Now tell me how that is better than "claiming" to be in a war.

            4) Who says it is scaring the GOP? They just don't want lies being spread. Moore has openly admitted that he exagerated and said things that were blatently wrong. The only reason why it was such a hit was because the media gave it much more attention than it deserved becasue it suited their goals-Get Bush Out Of Office.
</font>[/QUOTE]1: We did not always have a deficet. We had a surplus pre Regaen and pre GBII. Now we have a record deficet.

2: I could post mounds and mounds of evidence, but here is a tidbit. Find any of those WMDs he and Colin said were there? How about the non exsistant links between Iraq and OBL. You don't know it, but Iraqi security forces killed every OBL agent they found.

3: On one hand we have a Senator who won three Purple Hearts. Those are not given away. Find the rules on how they are awarded. On the other hand, we have a man who is on record as saying he was in a war. One who used family connections to pretty much do things like not show up for duty for a year.

4: The movie houses are still selling out on the movie. Staunch Republicans that I know see the movie and tell me it isn't good for them. To say nothing of the fact that if it was so off the wall and wrong the GOP would just ignore it.

And in case you are unaware of it, a Purple Heart is the one medal nobody wants. And the only one that is the most cherished.

Please read my post above and visit above link the link above...tell me GBII created all that. Even at a 500B per year defecit that would take 15 years to create.
