About the shifting thing...do you have a high-stall converter in it? I'm assuming you do, because mine does that as well....under partial throttle at 30-40 mph it doesn't know what gear to be in a lot of times. That's just a side-effect of the looser converter. It's kind of annoying but I've learned to drive it and it doesn't do it as much. You kind of have to learn the mph shift points.
Oh, and you might want to lower your shift points to get it to shift without letting off the gas, but it will tend to do that more with a converter. Your gas mileage won't be as good as it was with a manual or an auto with a stock converter.
And I've run my converter reliably for over 40k miles...if something was wrong with it I would know by now. UPDATE:
replace the speed sensor and everything is fine other then the 1860 TCC code, if i clear it, it comes write back in less then a minute
i tried to get on it to see if it would shift @ WOT but i got scared when the back tires broke loose on me, it may have hit the revlimiter but not sure... was to busy trying to keep my *** on the road lol
if it did hit the rev limiter, what would make it not want to shift under WOT?
still at the stock 5700 shift poiont i would like it to shift at 6200 with 6400 limiter if can....www.turbov6camaro.com

viper i have a question. you mentioned the g-force transmission, other than the fact that an auto is stronger for the f.i. why not go with the g-force??
was it too risky to try or not guaranteed??
the reason i ask is because i am looking into getting my tranny rebuilt with the g-force gears so i can turn up the boost on my car when i get the turbo installed upon my return home. i also have the m-5 and will be running 7-8 psi boost at first.
any info would be grealy appreicated.
