I posted this in Regional, but I want more opinions. How F'ed up is this?
Ok, I was going down beach blvd in huntington beach with my sister in the car, and this motox cop is 2 lanes across from me (I'm on far inside lane) and we both are at the front at a red light. He looks over at my car, I had my windows down to all but a little crack, and then proceeds to take off at the green light. I cruise down Beach, and I see him sitting on the corner. I pass by (I know I'm not doing anything wrong) and he pulls me over. I'm like...WTF? So he gets me for tinted windows, tinted front winshield, tinted tail-lights, and no front license plate. I was like...you fukin @$$HOLE!! I'm thinking, oh well, $10 fix it...not bad, whatever. I get the ticket in the mail finally...
$208 plus proof of correction!
I mean, cmon now.... I wasn't doing anything wrong at ALL! There's no way he could've know I had tinted side windows because they were down to almost a crack left. If I'm not doing anything wrong, then why pull me over? I mean seriously, do COPS who do that go home to their wives and say, "hey honey, at work today I pulled over a guy." "Oh, what did he do?" "Nothing, just didnt like the fact that he thinks his car is BADASS (even though it came from the factory that color) and so I decided to write him up for a bunch of stuff just because." Hell, I bet he doesn't even have a wife to go home to. He probably beats her or whatever.
And NO HAWGS, I don't need to be reminded that I was in the wrong, cuz I know I was. I don't care about that. BUT CMON!!!! YOU DON'T HAVE ANYTHING BETTER TO DO WITH YOUR DAY (So you just pull some guy over for the hell of it?) And just so everyone knows, there's like 2000+ codes in the Penal code book, and each has more or less for each district and state. So I don't want to hear, ya, but you were violating a code. Cuz we ALL violate a code in one way or another. I even know there's a code that says if you're driving to close to the line seperating lanes, you can get pulled over.
