Well last night i was driving this girls 2005 Hyundai Tibron. Its a 5 speed. its been awhile since ive drove a 5 speed.
So we went to the school parkin lot. The only real big parkin lot empty at night. Soo i did a few laps around the parkin lot, doing alot of stopping and going.
Next thing i know a unmarked cop is on my ***. I pull over in a school parkin spot. He asks "what are you doing" The girl is cracking up. I say "Practicing driving a 5 speed". He said well its trespassing after school hours. I said i didnt know. I really didnt. He said well just give me your license so i can run it real quick. He comes back "Did you know your license is suspended?" I replied "no". At this time im freaking. Im like WTH why would my license be suspended. He didn't know why it was suspended. Soo he took my license and gave me a piece of paper saying why he took my license and stuff. I dont have to pay no money or anything.
I go home look on DMV web site. Sure enough it says my license is suspended. Today it was a holiday so i can't accomplish anything till Monday. Well DMV site said its because i havnt paid the court the money i owe them. I have the receipt saying i have paid the ticket and paid in cash. I called my lawyer today and he said monday go to court and show the clerk the receipt and explain to the clerk DMV needs to be notified. Cause if not i have to pay a $85 reinstatement fee to DMV. My lawyer also wants the name of the cop so he can attempt to get my license back without me having to go to DMV.
THIS **** SUCKS ***!!!!! A weekend without my license is rough. Im lucky i got pulled in a parkin lot and not on the highway. Cause it could of be serious then. Damn i wish the courts could do something right for once.
