almost broke my foot on the bike I just got last week...

well, I guess it was coming for me, I got to cocky, I just pulled off the highway, headed straight then got into the right turn deceleration lane....was going maybee 40mph about to turn, when about 10ft in front of me a lady in a navigator just pulled out and cut me off...I swerved about 2in from the curb, the bumper on her truck pinned my foot inbetween the bike and the bumper, my foot peg got ripped off, cracked her bumper and have a very small scratch on the rear of the bike....very close to the seat....long story short, got an X-Ray, nothing broken just badly bruised got some percocet in me now, and its friday today, monday Im going on a cruise with my girlfriend to celebrate my birthday....so basically if your riding a bike or thinking of getting a bike, when you start to get cocky and the bike starts to feel right, SLOW DOWN....I unfortunalty didnt learn this from my first bike which I should have....I got cocky and put the bike down....I shouldve realized it with this bike, I didnt...Im glad im not hurt badly, and thankfully I didnt set the bike down....so try and learn from some of my mistakes....

damn dude, so soon too. well, im glad your ok. my firend got a new(used) bike so hes going to teach me to ride his old bike. [img]graemlins/rock.gif[/img]
