  • Got Pulled Over

I got pulled over yesterday for my window tint. My dad's the mayor, but no corrupt preference was shown by the officer. After the officer ran my info and informed me of the reason for the citation, I informed him of my perscription for the window tint, and gave him the clearance note from my optometrist. The officer took that for a while, then came back and said to have a nice day. They didn't hassle me, try to get me for my exhaust, or even try to give me a verbal warning.

Justin, what perscription? Where you the one who mentioned having a condition. I remember somebody a month or two back talkin about something called blonde eyes. My eyes have always been really sensitive to light, even on overcast days. So what's this perscription for? Just curious.

silvachris1, I simply have what they call "Light Sensitivity". There might be a medical terms that doctor's use, but I don't know it. When I would drive, on sunny days, I had to pull over sometimes and close my eyes, because the glare off the road would be so bright that I was squinting so hard I couldn't barely see anymore. Overall, it doesn't affect me much. Once I got the window tint, though, I could drove so much longer, my eyes never hurt, I never got headaches, and I never had to squint again. Even in the desert at noon, it's almost like my car is under a cloud. I didn't NEED it, but it just makes it much nicer and easier, and I think, safer, because my eyes are wide open all the time now, and I have no problems seeing anything.
