Been out of work for 4 consecutive days now, and still haven't kicked this yet. Funny thing is, I got a flu shot for the first time of my life back in early October. Also, I swear that everytime I take that lousy cough syrup...I cough more!

I had a nasty 24hr bug last week. It was coming out both ends simultaneously. It's weird because I haven't been sick like that in a long, long time.

I prevent an illness by keeping myself hydrated, lots of sleep through managed time, avoiding crowds in small spaces, drinking juices loaded with vitamin C and good long hikes with fresh air and being cautious using other peoples keyboards and cellphones.
In public places such as a mall, I kick the toilet handle to flush and always have tissue handy when using ANY knobs, handles or doors in them germ infested bathrooms.
The only time I suffer is seasonal allergies that occur in spring which I have no control over.
I have heard of using Epsom salts in a large boiling pot of water and inhaling the vapors under a thick towel regularly. It should alleviate and maybe kick your flu away.
You may have to sweat the flu out, by this I mean trying some hot and spicy foods. My favorite is making hot wings with sauce that will kick your a$$. Try this recipe

I had the Flu when I was around 16 years old. Holy hell man, it was the worst thing ever. I was like a damn vegetable for three days straight. It was odd because I was totaly fine, and then it hit me like a ton of bricks. In a matter of a 1/2 hour I went from being ok to laying in my bed totaly F'ed up. Bad experience.05 GTO
97 W68
<a href=\"http://dpo.rpai
