I'm trying to find out who that was that had that 8-second street drivable Viper. Somthing like Dan Hess or something. Any help is appreciated.

So he traded the V10 for a V8... 6-speed for a 4-speed... and it runs 7's? Kind of ironic. Maybe I'll swap an I4 into my car. :D

Viper, he does not have to remove the chute nor the wheelie bar.

However, the wheelie bar may make it difficult to drive over anything but near perfectly flat ground. The car has all the factory lights and safety equipment to be road legal as well.

I remember reading a website a while back with more info on the car. If I remember correct the engine is a 541 Hemi making just about 1000hp and the nitrous is a 2 or 3 stage shot making at most 650hp. The owner says he has taken it to buy groceries before, although he admits it wasn't for much more than a gallon of milk and eggs.
