can we atleast agree a sports car only has two seats and its fast and handles well. cause i hate it when LS1 guys say they are sports cars. mybe its just the stupid people around here that say that though. in my opinion, a mucle car is a 4 seated car, that has the quaities of a sports car in the case of power. its a big car, weight isn't the factor for me, just size.

Stangs/fbody = pony car
Ferrari = exotic car
Evo/STI = rally car
SRT4 = sport compact
Dodge magnum = muscle car

idiots. well considering a GN would outrun a majority of the muscle car era cars, i guess thats not a viable canidate lol.
IMO, muscle ended with the GN. it was boxy, fast, and didnt handle. perfect muscle car.
And really, muscle isnt about the number of cylenders, its about the crowd the car was designed to cater to.Comment

syclones and typhoons are sport trucks.
the TTA, being that is uses the 3.8 w/ different heads and was way underrated from the factory is a muscle car, but cause of the limited production of it, i didnt list it.
If you want to get techincal, ok, the TTA was the last real muscle car.
Oh, and turbo doesnt rule out a muscle car. the GN was marketed as a muscle car, it sold cause its a muscle car, and its still a muscle car.Comment

You should know by now marketing doesn't make something true. ;) The original GTO was a muscle car, Stingrays, trans ams, chargers. Those were all muscle cars. The new trans am was marketed as a muscle car. It isn't one in my opinion but glad pontiac wanted to leach profits from middle aged men's memories of the muscle cars of their teen years. Marketing is just that marketing, they say what gives them the most money. 200hp in 3300lb car is not muscle... it's not slow, but it's not fast.
400-500hp in 3300-3500lb car is a whole lot better.Comment

I’m new. I actually don’t own a Camaro or firebird. I do have a 2000 Camaro 3.8 fly by throttle and 4l60e. This is installed in a 1980 Triumph TR7...3 weeks ago -
