Have fun! Those are the only Scions I'd even consider driving, even if one showed up in my driveway. Have fun with that manual..I can't imagine ANY car without a manual now, although steer clear of rush hour while learning...thats how I burned my first clutch up.
Do what was mentioned before, let the clutch out JUST until you can feel the car pull its self foward, then give it gas and let the clutch out. No more roll-backs. Get used to stalling on there, it was a good 4 months before I could do that right.
I taught myself how to drive a manual, mostly thanks to video games [img]smile.gif[/img] . But I had some beginner problems, like that rolling back thing...bogging the engine down, stalling, and riding the clutch. It took a friend who could pass as a mechanics advice, and after around 5 months I've finally got it down. Anyway, have fun with it, TAKE SOME PICS!
Not much going on, replaced my Kenwood double din stereo with a Pioneer double din, the Kenwood had problems. Then replaced my power inverter for my reverse...
