• F-body towing package?

I just got back from the gym, and there was a purple camaro with a u-haul hitch on it. What do all of you people think of that? I can understand that some people might need it, but to me it just makes the car look like a hillbilly owns it. Man, it just looks so bad on our cars...

yes, i think it makes them look like a redneck if they have a big *** hitch on their sports car. if you DO need a hitch, you can get the ones that hide up behind your rear bumper.

some people have to. they might have a boat or something they need to pull and they don't have a truck. they would rather keep their sports car but can't afford to have a truck on the side.

I've seen a riced out CRX pulling a jetski trailer with two jetskis on it. The *** end looked like it was going to scrape the ground and I have no idea how he pulled them back up the boat ramp when he was done.

It woudl probably tow better then a 3.4L the cam in the 3.4L is like its out of a truck... lots more torque then hp, and more of a "down low" motor then and power up top motor.

I see it alot here in FL... maily peopel towing jetskis...

Anyone ever see that vette that sunk when the guy was trying to launch a jetski?

you have to dip the rear of the cr in the water, and the rear wheels floated up when the fiberglass got in there, and he coudl not drive out and it eventually floated out and sank.

Some people have to, big deal. My previous guitar teacher has a Del Sol with a trailor hitch, he uses it to haul PA gear to gigs.
