  • Question about Nissan Sentra

So my mom's 2001 Sentra got f**ed up on the freeway, the whole front bumper needs to be replaced, and probably the headlights. I'm wondering, how hard is it to replace that bumper and put it on myself?

The hardest part is the paint.

depends how bad the damage is...

if its just the bumper, no too bad might be a coupls hard parts, now if anything on the frame, like bumper mounts, or the frame itself is messed up that could be alot harder to tell.

Also a problem you might run into, is all the bolts will be binded up and start snapping as you take them off.

Friend of mine messed up his truck, we pulled the front stuff off and found his bumper supports were fecked and we couldnt' get them off so we put the fender on that was damaged, and let a body shop deal with the bumper support and bumper. It cut the costs alot but was still had to take it in.

The front bumper is the only thing we have to worry about, its just about the only thing that needs to replace, other than the little grill that says "nissan" right between the headlights. Does anybody know about an estimate on how much would be to just take it to a body shop and have them replace the bumper and paint them?

Probably bet on at least a grand to replace and paint the front end
