Just calmly explain to them that you were high on psychoactive drugs and were only following those other guys. They'll understand

But seriously, that sucks. I think I would seriously bring up the fact that if I were racing I'd be going 150+ MPH.

Seriously, don't screw around and get a lawyer. You guys saying he got off easy obviously don't know the serious concequences of a street racing charge.

Street racing is a felony now I believe so it will really **** up your life. You can never own a gun, you can never vote again. A good lawyer should be able to get that thrown out and should only be around $500.

HTF can you be racing if you all in a line?

                when is your court date?

in Ohio, street racing is a felony. automatic liscense suspension, vehicle impoundment, and possible jailtime, along with 6 points on liscense (same as vehicular homicide)

good luck and let us know how things work out

                    haha i know isnt it

i think with a lawyer shane will get off with just a speeding ticket. That should not be considered racing.

for some icing on the cake....id have your lawyer make the officer pay for the dents in your car to be repaired

Tell the judge you were working undercover for the FBI to catch a drug kingpin. To get the job you had to race to an impound lot and retrieve a package.

If you feel you could handle it on your own and save the cosst of a lawyer, this might help.

Also, you can call the police station everyday and ask for the ticketing officer, the day he isn't there, try that same day(s) the following week to see if he keeps the same schedule, if so request your court date, when you know the cop has the day off.

Or, if you do get a lawyer he could bring suit against the city/state for repairs, and/or negligence. More than likely they drop the charges and fix your car in exchange for you dropping your charges.

(the police here won't even use a slim jim to open car doors for you anymore because someone sued because the cop scratched the paint)
