update to the "being a shy/nice guy sucks" thread

Remember in that thread how i was pissed because that one guy said "dude you have no chance in hell of getting with her." Well that ***** was wrong. The relationship with her boyfriend is rocky right now and might end up ending soon. The girls sister (in law) works there also and somehow we got on the subject and i said that she is a really nice person and that i kind of liked her but i was just too shy to ask her anything (i talk to her and all, just dont want to ask her out cause of shyness and the whole b/f thing [img]smile.gif[/img] ) and she said that she would talk to her. I said if she wanted to she could (even though i didn't REALLY want her to but i figured "why the hell not it cant hurt right"). All this happened while the girl was not at work since she was away at a friends wedding. When she got back from the wedding the sister in law was talking about it to her and said that the decision with her b/f is inconclusive either way right now (dont know if they will break up or stay together). When the in law mentioned me and stuff the girl quote "didn't act adverse about the idea." thats a plus right there [img]smile.gif[/img] and then the girl said that it was "so sweet" that i was too shy to ask her out yet. which i guess is another plus. Also tomorrow morning (monday) at 8 o'clock i'm supposed to meet them at starbucks (another plus lol). So needless to say i'm fairly happy right now, especially since i might prove the ***** wrong about me not having a chance lol

From my personal experience, though, when you care too much about any particular girl and planning and stressing over smallest things is usually when sh*t goes sour.

So, if I was to provide an input for you it would be to meet 3 other girls within a week and then try to get with this girl of yours. You gotta knock her down of that piedestal you put her on. She's just a girl.

i dont really "have her on a pedastal" when i'm around her i act normal i dont act all gaga and drool or kiss her feet like i worship the ground she walks on. update --- was shot down. Oh well, win some lose some right? and i guess i wasn't really shot down because the sister in law said that she thought i was a really nice guy (which she wants a nice guy so dont say "thats why you didn't get her, you were too nice") but she wants to give the relationship a second chance. But of course this could be a nice way of letting me down easy.... i dont know....i'm just a hopeless romantic i guess <shrug>
