If ya saw a '96 Imapala, they're still RWD and at least came with a LT1. 2000 was the dissapointment with the FWD, 180 3.4L v6. If ya have the Imapala, at least if you get desperate, its a LT1 to modify. Hotcam to a LT4 and so on.

Yet another reason I'm going rice in the future for a commuter car. Almost all of GM's cars suck and they all look alike. I've got my eye on the new Eclipse, the Mazda 6, RSX for possible future commuters.. the ONLY GM car I might consider (but need to see it in person first) would be the Solstice.
Am I the only person that's noticed that the Mazda 6 looks more like a pontiac than most pontiacs do now?

:D YEP. The new Eclipses are HOT. I've seen 2 of them on the road and both times I was like... what is that?!?! til I saw the "Eclipse" on back. And a 3.8 with 240 or 250 horse? Yeah, I'd take that over one of GM's lame cars anyday... cept' maybe the Vette... ;)
