Been there done that 3 times... The worst is if you lose reverse, cuz you can still drive forward so you don't justify the rebuild just yet.

but then again losing 1st 3rd and 5th all at once sucks too.

What clutch do you have?

I talke to Jason at FBC and he's says my car thinks it's a V8 (aka, it's having the same problem as the Spec 3 V8s) - so I'm looking into trying the same fix; adjustable clutch master cylinder. Apparently it's a known problem with the Spec 3 after break in, not enough fluid displaced to disengage the clutch.

I'd buy a beefier tranny. According to my old buildout plan, a Tremec TR-3550 TKO is only about $1500 and is much stronger then the T-5. Not sure what they are going for now, as that price is like 2 years old.

You know, as tempting as that is, it's not gonna help the car THAT MUCH come Spring time. -- I'm thinking I have a trany .. and if this suggested fix does the job, then my trany will last me another year. [img]tongue.gif[/img]
