Tsunami now claims over 52,000 people

Every time I listen or read the news the death toll just keeps on rising. The number of countries hit so far is 11, from Africa to Asia.

Lets keep them in our prayers. I can't even imagine what the people are going through at this moment.

well my prayers are with my countrymen.

Our vacation home just north or Phuket, Thailand was flooded but not too badly damaged. My father is in the Thailand Army and is involved in the rescue effort.

52,000 people die horrible deaths by drowning and being washed away to sea (1/3 children) and now they can't be burried because it's hard to find dry land in the area.... ****ing hillarious.

2,700 people die in 9/11... that's not funny.

This morning i was looking at a page about this it said 52k dead, i hit refresh and then it said 68k.

Now i come back from the store its at 72k this is just sad.

i heard on 98.7 yesterday that some country or someone was calling the united states STINGY for giving 15million in the relief aid..and Japan gave more than us.

I wish I heard who said that, because they are idiots. If they think we're stingy, fine **** them. You don't get anything now.

But that is a tragic event that happened over there.
