  • 98+ Firebird Guys....Whats is under the armrest on the doors?

Whats is under the armrest on the doors? You know how there is a handle that swoops into an armrest. And a door tray under it swoops back. When the tray stops, what is behind that plastic shell. I have taken the door panel off, but I am too afraid to take it apart. I would like to put my component crossovers there. Anyone know?

Nothing. That is where I actually put my crossovers in my former 01 TA. There is some insolation glued to the door panel, but you can pull a little bit of that up.

Shhh... don't tell the Camaro folks about the secret compartment in Firebirds - it'll just add to their inferiority complexes.

          :D

What does that suppose to mean. And wouldn't just one :( suffice.

As for that compartment being used for crossovers, do you think the constant slamming of the doors will damage the crossovers.

Man, I'm jealous cause my 'Maro doesn't have a poorly designed, completely useless compartment that isn't supposed to store anything.

                ;)
