The pics on the page below are some that I took at the US Grand Prix (Formula 1) in Indianapolis last Sunday. I took a whole lot more, but they didn't turn out too well because the cars were passing me at about 210 mph.
I would love to make it to a grand prix..and drive in it. Picture blur is understandable. [img]smile.gif[/img]

i am giving myself tickets to the canadian grand prix for my birthday next year... if they're having it anyway, if not i'll just go to the u.s. grand prix.
this is me being envious. i just want to hear how loud it is in real life :D

It's a combination of the volume AND the tone of the cars. I was sitting at the exit of the pit lane (near the end of the main straight) where the cars were at 18000 RPMs going about 210 mph. It was ear piercing loud for the first 10 high speed laps (disregarding the wrecks at the beginning of the race) but you get used to it pretty fast. People sell ear plugs all over the place before the race on the streets.
