• Calling all high mileage cars!!!

I'm on a quest to find other high mileage f-body owners. Chime in and prove that Hondas and Toyotas aren't the only cars out there that can run forever, except ours do it while making real power. Also take a moment to brag about any engine mods that have stood the test of time.

I've got a little over 202,000 miles right now on a pretty stock engine. In that time I've gone through a transmission, driveshaft, radiator, water pump, heater core, 3 alternators, 2 tensioner pullies, tie-rod ends, and a set of rear bearings. The engine is still strong as ever, though.

How about you guys?
1997 Camaro, Y87 Perf. Package, iRotor Drilled & Slotted Brakes, Bilstien Shocks, Custom drive shaft, K&N Filter, & Mobil 1 synthetic. 202+K miles and still drives like new.<br />-If you can\'t stomp \'em in the straights, kill \'em in the corners...

My car is just a youngster...93,000+ miles.

It's a 1995 with a 3.8 V6 bought with 42,000 miles in 1998. The only parts replaced: Battery, brakes, plug wires and a noisy headlight motor.

It's only a occasional driver, but still runs like a champ!

how much does it cost to replace that "noisy headlight motor" its driving me nuts! I pull up into my parking space in school in the morning and have a few ppl checking my bird out and then that awful noise... and i get funny looks. I hate that noise!
