Alright, step back for this one. My mom and dad had bought an '88 Regal Custom brand new which I inherited when I turned 16. Up until I got it, nothing had ever been replaced except for the motor mounts (at roughly 200k). I sold it shortly after I turned 18 because the tranny and engine were finally getting rough. When I sold it it was around 350,000 miles on the clock, and it's STILL driving around. Don't know if anything's been replaced since I sold it though, and that was almost 5 years ago.

Well, 99' Camaro's got 80,600 and is parked for the semester. Been a good car, with minor maintenance other than upkeep. Parts replaced include:

        Clogged cat
Front turn signal lens and housings
        Front turn signal sockets

        And needs to be replaced:

Transmission valve body and torque converter (P1870)
        Transmission mount
        Warped rotors

As for the high mileage cars, although non-fbodies... 200,500 mi on the Mercedes Turbo 300D (RIP :( ), just sold the Beretta with 170,000 mi, and my daily driver the Vigor with 140,000. Oh, and my dad's Bronco on it's 2nd engine for the grand total of about 210,000 mi.

High mileage is the only way to go.

Hey all, I've been a long time viewer on here and had to bring it back up lol.

                1994 3.4L Camaro 5 speed with 232,057 miles

                ready for this......

3 alternators b/c of oversized stereo :twak:
                3 batteries ^
1 water pump at 201,000 miles
                1 clutch at 180,000 miles
3 rear ends, I upgraded to an lsd on the 3rd time
1 set of front rotors and unknown amount of brake pads/shoes
                2 starters
                1 heater core
Probably more that I can't remember right now

                Things needed soon:

                Shocks....i'm on my original set......:wavey:
                Bushings
                Oil leak or two
                About to need another clutch
Transmission needs rebuild due to bad clutch:spank:

I bought the car on May 1, 2001 with 131,003 miles as my first car.
Drove the car, loved the car, hated the car, still have the car and don't have any plans of ever giving it up.

also, the car at just over 200,000 miles went down the strip at 16.42 at 89.67 mph. Mods were no cat, flowmaster slip on muffler, and slp cai. Ran the car with full stereo so I'd say the motor itself is bullet proof. She's starting to show her age now in other areas however.
